Call for Submissions: So Say We All’s February VAMP Show

MicrophoneWe are coming to you, yet again, to see what unexpected surprises you’ve got for February So Say We All’s VAMP show!

We’re currently looking to book poets, writers, comedians, storytellers, musicians, animators and more to perform pieces on the theme of “Love is for Suckers“. Let there be no story too petty, no righteous anger too overblown, no butt-hurt, heart broken, pride-wounded person be without a place to have their revenge against the one who scorned them.

Added bonus: pieces recorded at our shows will be passed on for possible broadcast by our friends at KXLU, 88.9 FM, Los Angeles. Our open slots are filling up fast, so e-mail us your piece at
VAMP at Whistle Stop
VAMP (Video, Art, Music, Performance) is a multi-media variety show that gives artists across the full spectrum of mediums a forum to showcase their work on specific, monthly themes. Currently producing shows at the second Monday of every month at Whistle Stop, beginning promptly at 9:00 pm. Artists from any medium, including musicians, animators, video artists, film makers, writers, poets, burlesque dancers, circus freaks, storytellers, photographers, painters, mimes, balloon artists and more who have a short (5-10 minutes) piece on theme are greatly encouraged to contact us at

Deadline: RSVP, written materials (stories, lyrics, etc.) and accompanying multimedia (optional photographs, music, etc.) must be received by February 1st.
Workshop: Written pieces (stories, poems, etc.) will be work-shopped February 4th.
