Coming up in the highly competitive San Diego acoustic scene that has produced such world renowned talents as Jewel and Jason Mraz, Chad Cavanaugh emerged as the 2008 Best New Acoustic Artist nominee(San Diego H.A.T. Awards) and was selected for the 2009 San Diego County Fair’s 5th Annual Singer/Songwriter Showcase that features the top singer/songwriters in the county.
