Hanna Tawater is a part-time educator and full-time graduate student in UCSD’s MFAprogram for creative writing. She uses poetry, prose, and multimedia to explore an amalgamation of aesthetics, interdisciplinary pursuits, larger philosophical truths, as well as smaller ones. She is fascinated with notions of gender, identity, and interpersonal relationships. She is also constantly exploring all the various -ologies and -isms she comes across (probably in an attempt to make sense of her own existence).
Hanna is a rare San Diego native, possesses a forgotten background in fine art and music, and is capable of evocative dinosaur impressions. Some of her work can be found at www.nativewaters.wordpress.com
