Greenroom writers workshop: “Obsessed!”

March’s free writers workshop focuses on the concept of obsession, whether that’s the brand known by fanboys, or when the thought of letting go is more painful than holding on, and the many problematic places that takes us. Writing will commence there, and anyone who wants to workshop a piece is free to bring one in.

Greenroom Writers Workshop: Flash Fiction

May 11th’s free writer’s workshop will focus on the art of brevity: flash fiction, stories of 1,000 words or less. This will be a generative workshop, focusing on discussion, writing exercises, prompts and creation.

Taught by the exceptional Jim Ruland, author of the short-story collection Big Lonesome and the host of the reading series, “Vermin on the Mount,” now in its seventh year.
