We are so back.
So Say We All’s special storytelling dating show returns on August 27th at Little Bird Brewing, and submissions are officially open.
Storytellers will take the stage and pitch the audience on why someone should date their friends, colleagues, cousins, siblings … heck, you can even pitch your mom if you want. With a VAMP-style story-and-slideshow presentation, Hitch Deck is a night of comedy, love, and friendship brought to you by the truth-telling community of So Say We All.
Oh, and in case it wasn’t clear … the person you’re pitching needs to be in the audience and consent to this. Obviously.
Submission details:
Stories should be a maximum of 5-minutes in length.
It's ok if the first draft goes long, we'll help you edit it down.
Go for funny, touch on your friend's best attributes, give examples, stories, surprises, touching moments, etc. Try to do a little showing over telling where possible. At the end of the day, they're all love letters to your person.
Submission deadline: Sunday, August 9.
