We're taking Long Story Short, the unscripted, open-mic storytelling show where everyone is welcome, online! All you need is a free Zoom account, a computer, and a web camera to participate.Anyone who signs up and is randomly selected tells a true, 5-minute story related to the show’s theme, without notes… and can revel in their bravery!
As long as your story is true, on theme, and 5 minutes or less, the mic is all yours! November's theme is "Sibling Rivalry." As always, any and all interpretations are welcome!

Please read these instructions!:
- Go get yourself a free Zoom account here: https://zoom.us/. You can use it within a browser window, or download the program as an application (we recommend the latter.)
- Launch the Zoom application.
- Even if you don't want to tell a story, you can still sit in on the Zoom and feel like you're in the room with everyone. As close as we can get to it, anyway!
- Be aware: this LSS will be live-streamed to SSWA's Facebook page.
IMPORTANT MUST-READ ETIQUETTE RULES:
- Please make sure that you are joining us from a quiet space. Turn off all television, radio, music, etc. Put barking dogs and babies in other rooms. The hosts will politely ask you to turn your bullshit down if it's too loud.
- We encourage the use of headphones. If you have a computer mic, even better. Neither are required.
- You are expected to exhibit the dignity and poise you would reserve for a nice grandmother in the chat. No negative comments, side conversations, etc.
